Real Edwardian Human Skeleton

0.00

An Edwardian period part-articulated genuine half human skeleton. The skull can be opened to inspect the brain cavity and the jaw is articulated with bronze springs. The spine is complete and again articulated, as is the hand and foot. There is a half set of ribs, a complete leg, including the patella, an arm with shoulder, half a pelvis, a sternum and a couple of bones we're not sure what they are! All contained within a hinged wooden box with later painted label. Some of the bones have annotations as the skeleton was originally used as a teaching aid. It was sourced from a doctor's surgery where it has been for many years. Likely by Adam, Rouilly & Co. A masterpiece! In exceptionally good clean condition for age. c.1910
