Presidential Inauguration Sign
An original metal sign from the American Presidential inauguration ceremony of Richard Nixon.
Large swathes of Washington D.C are closed off to traffic during such ceremonies and this sign would have been used to notify residents and visitors of the closures. Back then, a common piece of signage but now, an interesting piece of American social history. A little bent at the bottom with some minor paint loss but still bright, clear and easily fixed to the wall. c.1968/9.
