Gentleman's Tool Chest
Wonderful quarter-sawn oak ‘Gentleman’s Tool Chest’ with rare original maker’s label. Made around 1830, by William Brookes & Sons of Sheffield, for the gentlemen of late Georgian society. The oak now has a lovely rich colour and patina. Fine dovetailed construction with original brass drop handles and escutcheon. Perfectly solid and good for many, many more years of use.
