Fine Burr Yew 'Best' Chair
A fine example of an early to mid 19th century Nottinghamshire Yew wood “Best” chair. Striking and exquisite burr central splat with amazing figuring. Turned yew legs with crinoline stretcher, shaped yew arms with shaped end notches and low to medium back hoop with drawn spindles, all in yew, finished with a generous shaped elm seat. The whole with excellent colour and patination. Fully restored.
